Mine-dense & explosive hazard board

UN-linked and public mine-action reporting: contamination, civilian harm, clearance, and why blast/ERW scenes matter for structural collapse and emergency medical training.

Method. Entries stack — older posts stay, new ones are prepended. Live items pull from ReliefWeb (public OCHA-linked humanitarian reports). We do not invent casualty numbers; figures must be read in the primary source. Photos are only shown when an open URL is present in our archive (we do not scrape copyrighted news wire images). This is an educational emergency-response desk, not a political campaign page.

How continuous update works

  • Archive file feeds/crisis/mines.json keeps history (never wipe it).
  • On page load the browser merges the latest ReliefWeb reports for this desk.
  • Optional server job api/crisis-refresh.php writes new items into the JSON when the server allows writes (Hostinger cron recommended every hour).
  • You can also manually add entries to the JSON (photos via open-license URLs only).
