Student table campaign kit
Use this page as your checklist. Print or PDF it. Share with your CAS / service coordinator.
MUST READ: Always obtain school permission. Follow campus safety rules. Full safety rules are required on the kit application form. IERRTA does not require a minimum donation amount.
1. Before the table
- Team of 3–8 students; pick a captain
- Approval from CAS / service learning / activities office
- Parent/guardian consent if under 16
- Posters (self-funded) with: program purpose, donate URL if collecting, contact email
- Optional QR to https://ierrta.org/donate.html and https://ierrta.org/youth-ambassador.html
2. At the table
- Explain: civilian disaster-preparedness education (not political campaigning)
- Voluntary donations only; never pressure peers
- Log hours and brief visitor notes
- Take 3–8 clear photos (faces only with permission)
3. After the table — report to IERRTA
- Email chenqi@ierrta.org subject: Youth Campaign Report
- Include: school name, date/location, hours, team list, funds raised (or $0), what you learned, photo links
- English preferred
4. Recognition
- Certificate after complete report review
- Recommendation letter: use letter request page with recipient name, title, organization, and purpose
- Letters describe real initiative only — not admission guarantees
